For any fellow history lover, or even period drama enthusiast, Downton Abbey has been a must watch for nearly three years. Michelle Dockery just finished a long day of filming at Highclere Castle, the English country house that always looks so lovely on 'Downton Abbey,' even though most spring days there, like this particular one, are wet and windy. In that world, women had to find someone. During one of the breaks, the commentator began by mentioning an epic show taking the world by storm! Set on a Yorkshire country estate, Downton Abbey distills a mode of life that is in sharp contrast to the spiritually flattened modern world with all of its tawdry technological bling and glitter. But the world's hunger for energy is still satisfied by coal, says Houssin, and without a more incisive switch to greener sources he believes the battle against climate change will be lost within less than a century. Before heading off to a late dinner with 'Downton' creator Julian Fellowes, the Emmy-nominated She has the heir to Downton, she has baby George and she is under pressure to find someone. The Hubs and I LOVE this show, we have our daughters hooked on it too. This companion to Downton Abbey (seasons one and two) is filled with such lush and arresting visuals I had to do more than merely write a review!
